Had a relative in the hospital in the area so Peter's was the closest place to get something to eat plus reviews were good. Ordered a Steak and Cheese sub. Food was very good and I'll be back tonight to try some Chinese food. Please keep in mind that this is take-out only and there is nothing in the way of ambience. Just good food at a good price. I'll edit later and add my thoughts on their Chinese food. Stopped by two days later and got the Beef and Broccoli combo plate. Tons of food for the price. Food was fresh but a little on the bland side. Egg roll was very good.

Basically your run of the mill sub/chinese place. Their hogies and chicken wings were on the spot for a quick lunch break. Lots of locals were coming through around lunch time our first visit - always a good sign! Would recommend their subs and wings... There's no tables though so don't plan on eating there :)

Better-than-average neighborhood Chinese/sub shop. Generous portions make it good value for the money. Lunch special 7 days a week is a bargain. Eggs rolls are the usual blah cabbage rolls, spring rolls are better. Fries are the usual -- crinkle-cut and blah. Fried chicken was great. Beef and broccoli and General Tsao's chicken were both great too. Broccoli was fresh and gently cooked. Such a lot of good food for $20!

This is a cheap, clean Chinese carry out. The food is great and the service is speedy. I can only speak to the taste of the typical carry out stuff like orange chicken, wings, fries, fried rice, steak n cheese, mambo sauce etc. The best part is that they accept cards now. So there's no excuse not to walk a block or two. Every other carry out disappoints compared to this one. Also lunch specials under $6? Why the hell not?

The food here is delicious and significantly cheaper than other restaurants. The workers there are really nice and their customers respect them. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a really good meal for only $5.

We moved to Takoma Park in about 7 months ago and have been very disappointed with the chinese food options that we'd found....until we discovered Peter's Sub Shop! I'm not quite sure how my husband found out about it, but it's only a short walk from downtown Takoma Park, so we strolled by with our dog a few evenings ago and picked up a menu -- they offer subs/sandwiches/burgers and chinese food. The place doesn't look like much, but the chinese carryout was delicious!!! We called in an order of orange chicken, general tso's chicken, and mixed vegetables -- it was ready 15 minutes later and only cost about $27 (which is a very reasonable price for chinese carryout if you ask me). Will DEFINITELY go back! Just a heads up that this place is CASH ONLY.
